Structure PDF Print E-mail
Monday, 10 September 2007

BGIn’s structure is based on the structure that you find in most companies with this understanding that it is a non-profit organization that has to adhere to certain regulations. Top down, the highest organ of the organization is the general assembly. The general assembly meets once every year and decides on fundamental issues that have to do with the organization. The general assembly exists out of all Black Members.

Board
The general assembly chooses a board which is responsible for the day-to-day working of the organization. The board meets every month, the current board exists out of:

Sigurd De Keyser (Gabitasoft Entertainment)

Hector Fernandez (Streamline Studios)
Pieter Slingerland (Coded Illusions)

Tommy Goffin (Founding member of BGIn)

Operations
From 2008, the operations structure changed. Based on the flow of support money, the decision was made that one full time would work in the area of Flanders since that region approved a subsidy file in BGIn’s advantage. For the Netherlands region, tasks and responsibilities are shared between members and board members.
